The High Commission of Planning of Morocco and the OECD Development Centre organise jointly the African Conference on‘Measuring Well-Being and Fostering the Progress of Societies’, which will take place from Thursday 19 to Saturday 21 April 2012 in Rabat at the Centre d’Accueil et de Conférences (CAC), Avenue Essanaoubar, Hay Riad.
The forum aims at:
- deepening the ongoing thinking on how to measure well-being and the progress of societies,
- improving the relevance of measurements and analysis used to approach major public policy challenges,
- reaching concrete results, such as the establishment of frameworks of analysis for forthcoming works.
The forum will be the first African contribution mechanism to the OCDE World Forum on Statistics, Knowledge and Policies, that will take place in New Delhi on 16-19 October 2012.
